Psych Pick: Exams are coming!

Hey BrainBreakers!
I’m going to have to say farewell for now as I’ll be having my last undergrad exams this month! I’m both anxious and excited because as I’m finally about to reach my long-awaited milestone, I kind of don’t want to have all the bigger responsibilities yet… *yikes*… but before I start worrying about that too much, here’s a neat little video from Imogen (one of our fellow volunteers in the Early Learning Lab or ELLA) about empathy, and how evolution today has driven our neurons to extend our identities towards the global society. It’s really cool, and I especially liked how it was all explained visually. I’m sure you’d enjoy it as well!
“We are soft wired to experience another’s plight as if we are experiencing it ourselves…”
Also, Marnelli and I were lucky enough to be able to guest-blog in one of the most delicious food blogs I know! Check out the Food Adventures of Tata and Kaka and read about what we thought of Relax Lounge, one of the cafes in Auckland University (because you know, we can never resist a cup of coffee!).
So see you guys in a couple of weeks, and wish me luck on my exams!
